Abstract
CORONARY occlusion with myocardial infarction has been reported several times from the newborn period through childhood. In most cases it has been due to inflammatory disease or medial calcification of the coronary arteries. Stryker1 has reviewed these rare diseases.A second area of interest in the coronary arteries of infants has been related to foci of intimal irregularity and thickening seen in many newborn infants.
