Abstract
The morphology of the adult blood flukeSchistosoma edwardiensesp.nov. fromHippopotamus amphibiusL. is described and compared with that of other species ofSchistosoma.I wish to acknowledge the receipt of a research grant from Makerere University College towards expenses incurred during this work.
