Abstract
Presentation of CaseA sixteen-year-old schoolboy entered the hospital complaining of constipation.Three months before entry while at a preparatory school the patient passed half a cupful of red blood one night, soiling his pajamas. A few days later he noted constipation, for which he saw the school nurse, who treated him with mineral oil and an enema. School closed shortly after this, and the patient went home.
