Abstract
A Maxwellian velocity distribution with cold and hot electrons causes the electron heat conductivity associated with the cold component () to decrease and even change sign in a weak magnetic field or parallel to a strong magnetic field. The same occurs transverse to a strong magnetic field and to but not parallel to . Nonetheless, the total heat flow retains its proper sign as a result of new contributions from and possibly . Various transport properties and the self-generated magnetic field are also analyzed.
