Abstract
We study canonical transformations in phase-space path integrals in the Schrödinger representation. Using the example of a contact transformation implemented in each short-time propagator via the midpoint method, we show that the ‘‘measure’’ (dpN/2πℏ) ∏Nj=1 [dpjdqj/(2πℏ)], apart from the unpaired dpN, cannot be considered as a product of Liouville measures. Keywords
