Abstract
A nondestructive photon activation with 30 MeV bremsstrahlung has been applied to the multielement determination in the pelagic sediments in a region of the Pacific Ocean. The abundances for 6 major and 10 trace elements were measured in several deep-sea floors and the core samples, discussion being given on the results. Determination of trace elements such as Cr, Co, Ni, and Sr is valuable because of their geochemical significance. Keywords
