Abstract
The middle-upper Liassic boundary beds in the eastern part of the Paris basin, France, are not represented by a uniform series. The section exposed at Clefmont-Bourmont is the most complete and reveals the presence of a fossiliferous zone (semicelatum-tenuicostatum) in the contact, which exhibits similarities with the Dactylioceras tenuicostatum of the British Liassic.
