Abstract
Social dominance among a pleometrotic group of queens of Camponotus ferrugineus was found to be mediated by aggressive behaviour. When queen secretions of this group of three queens were bioassayed with workers, the attractiveness of the secretions were found to vary with the social rank of the queen within the pleometrotic group. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
