Abstract
Fire brats reared and kept at 34.5[degree] C. were confined singly with access to poisoned bait in a food base of rolled oats with small amounts of sucrose and NaCl. Each conc. of each poison was tested upon 100 individuals for one week. With thiodiphenylamine (phenothiazine) as the poison, only about 3% of the fire brats died during the week. With arsenic trioxide, 4, 12 and 20%, about 2/3 died. With NaF, 4, 8, and 12%, about 9/10 died. A bait is recommended in which 7% of the weight is NaF.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
