Abstract
A windowless cell system is described for luminescence studies on liquid organic solutions under excitation in the vacuum ultraviolet. Operation conditions for the cell are given as well as the excitation spectrum of a liquid solution of 0.2-g/liter 2,5-diphenyloxazole in n-hexane between 6 and 21 eV.Keywords
