Abstract
Gastric administration of desiccated adrenal gland results in anorexia, depression of body weight, respiration rate and body temp., and frequently terminates in death. The curves of these changes, identical with those of fasting of corresponding degree, are due to the disturbance of gastric functions by epinephrin. The adrenal cortex is not concerned. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
