Abstract
Antibodies (19) specific for 11 different drugs [penicillin, nomifensine, ajmaline, triamterene, glafenine, Contrix, rifampicin, teniposide, catergen, ellipticine, moxalactam] were extensively tested in the presence of the drug against a panel of [human] red cells including common and public minus phenotypes. High incidence blood group antigens were specific receptors for several drug-antibody complexes suggesting that red blood cells play more than an innocent bystnder role in the drug-induced immune hemolytic anemias. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
