Abstract
A bonded composite consisting of LiNbO3-quartz-LiNbO3 is shown to have zero linear temperature coefficient of delay (t.c.d.) for acoustic surface waves. The quartz is a rotated y-cut crystal with propagation along the x direction providing a small negative linear t.c.d. that offsets the positive contribution from the surface-wave propagation in the LiNbO3.
