Abstract
Two extensions of the International Outcome Inventory for Hearing Aids are described: the first is designed for the significant other (SO) (IOI-HA-SO), and the second for alternative interventions for hearing difficulties (IOI-AI). A feature of the IOI-HA-SO is that several items are modified to inquire about effects of the partner's hearing loss on the SO. The IOI-AI is designed to cover effects of use of listening aids other than personally worn hearing aids, use of hearing tactics, and aural surgery. Sumario Se describen las adiciones al Inventario International de Resultados: la primera se díseñócute; para aplicarse en otros sujetos importantes (SO) (IOI-HA-SO), y la segunda para el uso en intervenciones alternativas para tratar dificultades auditivas (IOI-AI). Una característica del IOI-HA-SO es que algunos puntos se modificaron para preguntar sobre los efectos de la pérdida auditiva de un compañero o pareja. El IOI-AI se diseñócute; para cubrir los efectos del uso de otros instrumentos de auditiócute;n diferentes de los auxiliares auditivos personales, para el el uso de tácticas para escuchar o para casos de cirugia otolócute;gica.Keywords
