Abstract
P. perniciosi was introduced into Calif. in 1943. The host, San Jose scale, was readily propagated on the citron, Citrullus vulgaris.. At 80[degree] F the developmental period of the host was about 37 days and of the parasite about 19 days. P. perniciosi apparently reproduces uniparentally, the [female][female] being amphitokous when reared from San Jose scale growing on peach and thelyotokous when reared from San Jose scale growing on citron.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
