Abstract
Rotavirus was isolated from feces of patients and passaged in green monkey kidney cell subcultures. The factors affecting the initiation of infection were studied. These factors included the presence of low concentrations of trypsin in the infected culture and virus centrifugation. Immune electron microscopy was used to detect the virus in cell cultures and to prove its specificity. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
