Abstract
Magnetic studies were performed on intermetallic compounds with Laves‐type structure, , , , , and . The crystal structure of all the compounds except changes from the type to type with decreasing content. The magnetism changes from ferromagnetism to paramagnetism with change from type to type, and it is concluded that the structure favors ferromagnetism and structure does not. has a structure over the entire composition range and the magnetism changes from ferromagnetism to paramagnetism with decreasing content.
