Abstract
A double-blind trial was carried out for one year on 60 patients suffering from rheumatoid disease. A dosage of 10mg of sodium aurothiomalate weekly was compared to 50 mg weekly. The method and regime of the trial are described. Analysis of the results showed no statistical difference in the toxic effects between the two groups and those reported were not serious.Keywords
