Abstract
Doxapram infusion was given to five preterm infants in whom therapeutic concentrations of theophylline had failed to control episodes of apnoea. Doxapram successfully controlled the apnoea, the arterial blood PCO2 value decreased significantly, and no side effects were reported. Keywords
