Abstract
Stimulation and destruction of portions of the cingulate region of 15 Macaca mulatta monkeys indicates a pattern of somatic movements on the anterior portion of the gyrus which is repeated in reverse order on the posterior portion of the gyrus. Movements involving the musculature of the face, head, and neck were elicited from all points stimulated. Increased strength of stimulation (7-10 volts) produced convulsive movements. Keywords
