Abstract
We report a commensurate-to-incommensurate transition in Sb graphites at K, almost independent of stage for stages 2-6. Transmission electron microscopy reveals a 600-Å-spacing stripe pattern for . This is accompanied by an anomalous resistivity contribution which is strongly hysteretic and sample dependent. We interpret this behavior in terms of carrier scattering by the potential of the discommensuration lattice. Interlayer effects are apparent in stages 1 and 2.
