Abstract
Density fluctuations in the frequency range of several MHz are observed in the turbulently heated TRIAM-1 tokamak plasma by means of a 4 mm microwave scattering method. It is found from measurements of the dispersion relation that this instability is considered to be the low-frequency ion acoustic instability. Keywords
