Abstract
The genus Oedemium Link (syn. Diplosporium Link, Dimera Fries, Gongylocladium Wallr., Cladotrichum Corda) is revised. Two species are included, O. didymum (Schmidt) Hughes (syn. Botrytis didyma Schm., Oedemium atrum Link, Cladotrichum polysporum Corda, C. scyphophorum Corda, C. uniseptatum Cooke), and O. minus (Link) Hughes (syn. Helmisporium minus Link, Cladotrichum triseptatum Berk, and Br.). Both species are illustrated and described. An historical account of the relevant species and generic names is given and particular attention is paid to the misapplications of the names Oedemium and Diplosporium. Keywords
