Abstract
Key messages: A Nordic collaboration is the basis of large-scale audits and makes comparison between countries possible. The Nordic collaboration further develops the APO method for quality development and continuous medical education in primary health care. The method is based on a prospective self-registration on a simple registration chart acceptable to busy professionals. The method is suitable for quality development with regard to frequently occurring, central topics.Rational use of the method requires that the quality circle is completed consistently from idea to evaluation. Keywords
