Abstract
An isolated case of ringworm of the scalp due to Microsporum audouini in a man, age 19, which developed since childhood without cure at puberty is described. The lesion had quite an unusual appearance, evolving towards scar formation of the favic type. The authors call this special variety chronic microsporosis of the adult. The disease developed in an oligophrenic patient who had mild hypoadrenalism in its androgenic aspect. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
