Abstract
Inbred mice infected with Plasmodium berghei yoellii produce antibody of significantly lower relative affinity to human serum transferrin than do uninfected animals of the same strain. The levels of antibody produced were similar in both groups. The possibility that the infection resulted in partial immunosuppression is discussed.
