Abstract
Because overlapping Raman bands will, in general, have different depolarization ratios, it is possible to resolve such bands by means of a computer subtraction of the Ivh spectrum, scaled by an appropriate constant, from the Ivv spectrum. Several examples are given which illustrate both the capabilities and the limitations of the technique. Keywords
