Abstract
The influence of overhead ground wires on the corona losses, RI, and telephone interference of dc lines was studied. Corona losses and RI were measured on a full-scale bipolar test line. Corona losses were measured on laboratory models of monopolar, homopolar, and bipolar lines. Telephone interference levels were calculated. Experimental and calculated results are presented. Keywords
