Abstract
Lactobacilli and other lactic acid bacteria are involved intimately with man. The associations involve manufacture of various human foods and performance of various beneficial interactions in different parts of the human body. Renewed interest in the role of the intestinal microflora again focuses on the intestinal lactobacilli, particularly Lactobacillus acidophilus. This publication has 23 references indexed in Scilit:
