Abstract

A new sesquiterpenic compound from the root of Ligularia Fischeri Turcz. has been named eremoligenol and identified as Δ¹⁽¹⁰⁾eremophilen-11-ol. Petasalbine, furanoeremophilane, ligularone, and 6β-hydroxyeremophilenolide were also isolated.
