Abstract
After a lengthy investigation of specialization in medical care, the staff attorneys of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) have decided to recommend that a formal complaint be issued against the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. The complaint charges the society with unfairly restraining competition in violation of the Federal Trade Commission Act.In August of this year, Drs. Joseph C. Avellone and Francis D.
