Abstract
Summary A noncytopathogenic as well as a cytopathogenic strain of virus diarrhea virus (VDV) of cattle was shown to suppress the inhibitory action of interferon on multiplication of NDV. It is supposed that the END method, when used for titrations of VDV, is based upon this phenomenon. The interference induced by a noncytopathogenic strain of VDV for a cytopathogenic strain of the same virus appears not to be mediated by interferon. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
