Abstract
The real and imaginary components of the dielectric constant of activated alumina powder containing various quantities of water have been measured at temperatures from 0-29.8° C, and at frequencies from 40 c/s to 100 Mc/s. The loss observed in this frequency range is ascribed to a Wagner-type mechanism. No discontinuity in the dielectric properties of the medium was observed. Keywords
