Abstract
This note records paralysis of 1 yearling each of Charolais, Holstein, Braham-Shorthorn cross, and Hereford after application to each animal of 120 unfed female Dermacentor andersoni ticks collected in British Columbia. Paralysis occurred 5–8 days after infestation. The weight of partially fed female ticks at the time of paralysis varied among animals, ranging from 32 to 83 mg/kg of cattle weight,This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
