Upper Limit for the Electric Dipole Moment of the Neutron

Abstract
A neutron-beam magnetic-resonance experiment has been used to set an upper limit to the neutron electric dipole moment μe of |μee|<3×1022 cm, where e is the charge of the proton. A description of the experimental method using very slow neutrons is given, as well as an analysis of the data for systematic effects.
