Abstract
The use of electromagnetic flowmeters for measuring the vapor volume fraction in liquid metal two‐phase flow is described, and both theory and experimental results from NaK‐argon mixtures are presented. The flowmeters must be calibrated before use. The method is applicable to vertical flow channels in which the void fraction is less than 65% and the quality is less than 0.01.Keywords
