Abstract
The MII, III emission spectra for pure copper, pure zinc and α-brass (30% Zn, 70% Cu) are measured by methods previously used for nickel—copper alloys (Clift et al. 1963). The zinc emission spectrum is the same for the face-centred α-brass phase and the hexagonal pure zinc structure. Keywords
