Abstract
This report describes the use of magnetic resonance imaging in the evaluation of a patient with blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome, a rare entity consisting of multiple cutaneous and visceral hemangiomas. The bright signal obtained on T2-weighted images is probably the result of slow flow or thrombosis, typically present in these lesions, and allows for easy recognition. Keywords
