Abstract
The definitions, the physical significances, the interrelationships, and the observability of seven velocities of light are discussed. One of the seven, the centrovelocity, is a new velocity which is introduced here. It is suggested that this velocity can be used for the description of the transport of electromagnetic radiation since it does not have any of the short comings of the standard definitions of the group velocity or the velocity of energy transport. Keywords
