Abstract
Enquiry was made into the bowel habits of 1245 rural Africans of Uganda. The range of normal bowel bowel habits in the African village was defined as between 1 and 4 bulky motions daily of stool that was soft or loose in consistency. Other aspects of bowel habits and similarities to surveys of western populations were discussed. [These findings have relevance to the etiology and epidemiology of various diseases.].This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
