Abstract
Thermal energy reaction rate constants for C− ions reacting with O2, CO, CO2, N2O and H2 have been measured using a flowing afterglow technique. The reaction with O2 produces O−, the reactions with CO, CO2, and N2O produce free electrons and neutral products, and H2 is not observed to react. Keywords
