Abstract
In Guatemala, an indirect hemagglutination (IHA) test for [human] onchocerciasis, performed with a crude saline extract of Onchocerca volvulus and blood samples taken on filter paper, showed a high level of sensitivity and specificity. IHA titers of blood samples from the ear lobe taken on filter paper and of sera obtained by venipuncture showed a high correlation. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
