Atypische Veränderungen der Handgelenksknochen bei Preßluftwerkzeugearbeitern

Abstract
Bei 25 Arbeitern, die mit vorgestrecktem ulnaren Anteil des Handgelenkes die Vibrationsapparatur bedient haben, war in einer röntgenologischen Reihenuntersuchung beider Handgelenke an der apparathaltenden Hand nur in einem Falle die typische Navikulare-Zyste nachzuweisen, demgegenüber war in 13 Fällen eine mikrotraumatische Schädigung des Processus, styloideus ulnae festzustellen anfänglich mit Zystenbildung, danach mit Abbruch des Processus und endlich mit Ankylose und Malazie des lädierten Processus, ohne daß am Radius irgendwelche Schädigung zustande gekommen wäre. Twenty-five workmen using vibrating apparatus with the hands extended and in ulnar deviation were examined by serial radiology. Only one patient showed a typical navicular cyst in the hand holding the apparatus. In 13 cases, there was micro-trauma of the ulnar styloid process. At first this showed cyst formation, subsequently there was a fracture of the process and finally ankylosis and malacia of the damaged bone.
