Abstract
The behaviors of hydrogen in β‐vanadium hydride VH0.59 were studied by the 1H NMR spectroscopy. Fourier‐transformed spectra, spin‐spin relaxation times, and spin‐lattice relaxation times were measured in the temperature range between 77 and 420 K, and it was found that there are two kinds of hydrogen which occupy different sites over the temperature range studied. The diffusional properties of each component were obtained, and the relation between the components and the superstructures of the hydrogen was discussed. Keywords
