Abstract
An immunofluorescence method for the identification of Streptococcus sanguis in human dental plaque has been developed, using FITC-labelled F(ab′)2-fragments of IgG, with optimal staining characteristics. The predominant Strep. sanguis serotype in human dental plaque was shown to be type I.Keywords
