Abstract
The spectroscopic factor dependence of the revised model of Butler et al. for deuteron stripping is examined. It is shown that the factor multiplying the cross section in this model results from an incorrect evaluation of a matrix element. The correct evaluation reduces the revised-model matrix element to the original Tanifuji-Butler result.
