Abstract
An aqueous extract of cigarette smoke, in vitro, suppressed the activity of leukocyte lysosomal elastase. Inhibition was not due to pH change and was nonspecific. Acid phosphatase was also inhibited by the cigarette-smoke solution but acid glycosidases were not. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
