Abstract
Aspirin or bile administered by esophageal intubation to rats produced acute gastric erosions. These injuries could have been prevented by the prior administration by esophageal intubation of metiamide, a histamine H2 receptor antagonist that is known to inhibit gastric acid secretion. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
