Diurnal variations in the blood-sugar level of the lactating cow

Abstract
In preliminary exps. the blood sugar level of milking cows was highest from midnight to about 7 a.m. and then fell rapidly till about mid-day. Then, after a small rise and fall before afternoon milking, it rose from this time till midnight. It is suggested as being in part associated with the formation and withdrawal of milk.
