Abstract
A complete miniaturized chromatography system for 99mTc radiopharmaceuticals was adopted in order to improve upon the commercial systems currently available. Three distinct, separate, chromatographic procedures were used to determine the labeling efficiencies of 99mTc-labeled sulfur colloid, MAA, stannous chloride, phytate, DMSA, DTPA [diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid], pyrophosphate, diphosphonate, methylene diphosphonate, polyphosphate and glucoheptonate. The chromatographic systems include Whatman 31 ET paper and acetone, Gelman ITLC-SG [instant TLC-silica gel] and 0.9% NaCl and Gelman ITLC-SA and acetone. The chromatographic strips were miniaturized (1 .times. 6 cm), colored-coded, marked and numbered. All the chromatographic quality-control procedures were simple, rapid and were incorporated into the routine quality-control program of any nuclear medicine facility. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
